Insurance

Understanding dental insurance can be confusing, as it differs from medical insurance. Your dental benefits are determined by the agreement your employer made with the insurance provider. Reviewing the benefit booklet provided by your employer can help you understand your coverage better. It's important to note that Spring Hill Smiles doesn't accept Tenn Care, Medicare, or Medicaid.

If your insurance covers orthodontic treatment, our staff can assist you with claims and paperwork. Please bring your insurance card to your first appointment.

While we provide estimates based on information from your insurance, this isn't a guarantee of benefits. We'll file insurance claims as a courtesy, but any discrepancies in coverage will be billed accordingly.

If the amount paid by the insurance company is less than or greater than the estimate, then you will be billed the difference or issued a credit on the account in the event of an overpayment.

Medical Savings Accounts

Medical Savings Accounts (MSAs) are offered by some companies and are also accessible to individuals and their dependents. These accounts enable pre-tax deposits, which can be used for your medical expenses and orthodontic treatments in some cases.
